Sou o Prof. Newton Rocha, tenho mais de 20 anos de experiência com aulas particulares de inglês e já morei nos Estados Unidos por mais de 5 anos. Sou formado em Letras – Inglês pela UFMG e tenho Mestrado em Inglês também pela UFMG.

SUMÁRIO

Trabalho com aulas de inglês desde o início dos anos 90, depois de morar dos Estados Unidos. Cursei a graduação da Letras da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, com ênfase em Inglês, e defendi minha tese de Mestrado em Inglês também na UFMG. Fiz pós-graduação em Seattle, nos EUA, sobre o uso de tecnologias em ensino de idiomas.

Trabalhei em vários cursos de idiomas como Yásigi, Cultura Inglesa, CNA, Number One e em empresas, com aulas de inglês para negócios, como Fundação Cristiano Otoni, Cemig, entre muitos outros.

Trabalhei como professor de inglês do Sistema Arquidiocesano de Ensino por 8 anos, coordenando professores de inglês e dando aulas para mais de 500 alunos por semestre.

Também fiz muitos trabalhos como tradutor e intérprete de Festivais Culturais (como o Festival de Inverno de Ouro Preto), convenções de alta tecnologia, entre outros.

Tenho muitos trabalhos de tradução de artigos científicos, livros literários e enciclopédias realizados.

Dei aulas de Inglês para Negócios na Facultade de Ciências Gerenciais – UNA em Belo Horizonte por dois semestres.

Trabalho com aulas particulares e individuais de Inglês desde o início dos anos 90.

Desde 2006, trabalho exclusivamente com aulas particulares e individuais de inglês, em minha sala individual, e a partir de 2012, exclusivamente com aulas individuais e particulares online, através do SKYPE e outras ferramentas.

Dou aulas para TODOS OS NÍVEIS de Inglês e de Inglês para Viagens e Concursos. Também dou cursos preparatórios para provas de Mestrado e Doutorado, e para exames de inglês como TOEFL,TOEIC, IELTS, FCE, CAE, entre outros.

I have more than 30 years of experience with private English classes and English translations, and I have lived in the United States for about 3 years. I graduated in English Literature and Linguistics at UFMG and I also have a Master’s in English Literature also from UFMG – Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

SUMMARY

I have been working with English classes and English translations since the early ’90s, after living in the United States for three years (1990 to 1993). I have studied Literature at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with an emphasis on English, and defended my Master’s thesis in English at UFMG and a postgraduation course in Translation, also at UFMG.

I worked in several language courses such as Yázigi, Cultura Inglesa, CNA, and Number One, and in companies, with business English classes, such as Fundação Cristiano Otoni, and Cemig, among many others.

I worked as an English teacher at the Arquidiocesano Schools, one of the most respected and important schools of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, for 10 years, coordinating English teachers and teaching English to more than 500 students per semester.

I also did a lot of work as a translator and interpreter for Cultural Festivals (such as the Ouro Preto Winter Festival), and high-tech conventions, among others, since 1996.

I have many works of translation of scientific articles, literary books, and encyclopedias.

I taught Business English at the Faculty of Management Sciences – UNA in Belo Horizonte for two semesters.

I have been working with private and individual English classes since the beginning of the 90s.

Since 2006, I have been working exclusively with private and individual English classes, in my office, and since 2012, exclusively with individual and private classes online, through SKYPE, Google Meet, Zoom, and other tools. I have also done hundreds of translations, from literary texts to academic articles and essays.

I currently teach ALL LEVELS of English and English for Travel and Competitions. I have also organized and thought preparatory English courses for Master’s and Doctoral English exams, and English exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, FCE, and CAE, among others.

Since I started my career in 1995, I have had hundreds of satisfied and happy students with their learning.
